Emergency rescue for Explosion in Beirut, Lebanon

On August 4, two violent explosions suddenly occurred in the port area of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. More than 200 people were killed and more than 7,000 were injured. The shock wave of the explosion caused severe damage to roads and buildings, leaving 300,000 people homeless. Authorities estimate that as many as 500,000 people are in urgent need of food, clothing and accommodation in this catastrophe.

In the first time after the explosion, the local church in Lebanon began to participate in rescue activities as much as possible. But because of the impact of the epidemic and the economy, their power is very limited and they need everyone's help.

At this critical juncture, let us unite with local Chinese Christians and local churches to support them vigorously, in line with the love of God and the enthusiasm of the church, to provide help for daily necessities. Materials are the most basic help. The most important thing is to care for the soul, share the gospel, help their lives grow and renew, and lead them to Jesus.

Your support can provide the following support:

The first stage: provide food parcels for homeless families: under normal circumstances, help 1,000 families with food parcels for one month (worth about $50)-the goal is nearly $50,000.

The second stage: assisting home maintenance for families whose homes have been destroyed: The houses of these families have different degrees of damage, of which the doors and windows are the most damaged. The winter is about to enter in two months, and help is needed now. Can move in as soon as possible to repair. The plan is to establish workshops to repair and install house by house.
